Sife is a global non-profit organisation active in more than 40 countries. Working in partnership with business and higher education, SIFE establishes student teams on university campuses. These students are challenged to develop community outreach projects that reach SIFE's five educational topics:
Market Economics Success skills Entrepreneurship Financial Literacy Business Ethics
SIFE team members implement their educational experiences to implement programs that create real economic eopportunites for members of their communities. The effectiveness of these initiatives are judged at competitions. SIFE teams present the results of their projects and compete to determine which team was most successful at creating economic opportunity for others. SIFE National Champion teams advance to the top lecel of competition, the SIFE World Cup.
SIFE Monash
SIFE Monash is dedicated to creating and maintaining projects that help integrate indiciduals lacking financial independence. Our initiatives are conceptionalized with the core purpose of quipping the disadvantaged within our local community with fundamental financial skills to participate productively within our economy.
Our team provides a forum for free enterprise education and an opportunity for student leaders to make a difference within the community. Since its inception in 2007, SIFE Monash has more than tripled its membership basis and achieved outstanding reconition at annual national competitions.
